Mark your calendars and make plans to attend this gigantic one day estate auction being held in downtown Versailles, Illinois. In brief, we would just say that the late Mr. McDaniel was an avid auction goer and collector of a very diverse range of items. The shop and other outbuildings are full; therefore a detailed listing of items is impossible to obtain. Come prepared with an extra bidder or two, as we will be running two auction rings simultaneously throughout the day with a possible third ring if necessary.

Brief sale order subject to change. 9:00 A.M. one auctioneer will begin selling tools. This auctioneer will be selling tools nearly all day. Auctioneer number two will also begin at 9:00 A.M. and this auctioneer will sell advertising, oil cans, gas and oil related items and other collectibles. The guns will begin selling at 11:00 A.M. sharp. This gun collection along with swords, bayonets, knives, decoys, etc. could be sold by a possible third auctioneer. The Buick car and tractors will sell at approximately 12:00 Noon, or after the gun collection. As stated earlier, these times are estimated and will most definitely be subject to change.

Please note this auction is being held during the first Illinois firearm deer season weekend. This gun collection will sell at 11:00 a.m. sharp! It will take approximately one hour to sell these guns therefore we urge deer hunters to attend this auction during the mid-day to grab a sandwich and watch the guns sell. We will have you back in your deer stand in no time!
