Location & General Information

Selling 60.0 Surveyed Acres of productive Adams County, IL bottomland. Land is located approximately 7 miles south of Quincy, Illinois in the southwest quarter of Section 17 of Fall Creek Township. From Hwy. 57 at marblehead, Illinois take Cty. Rd. E900th south approximately 1/2 mile and turn west on cty. rd. N350th. Go approximately 1/2 mile and over the levee to the farm. This very productive farm has a PI rating of 128 and will be sold as 1 tract. The farm sells with full possession for the upcoming ‘16 crop year.

Farm Information

Check out this highly productive Adams County, Illinois farm. FSA figures should indicated approximately 54.14 acres tillable. Highly productive soils with over 55% of the tillable having Huntsville (PI of 143) & Ross (PI of 134) soils. The balance of the tillable acres have soils which include Zumbro, Twomile & Lawson. Soils on the entire tillable portion of the farm have a PI of 128! The farm has excellent access at the northeast corner by Cty. Rd. N350th.

Method & Terms

The Drebes farm will be sold in 1 tract and on a price per acre basis. The farm is currently being surveyed and the new surveyed acres will be used to calculate the final purchase price. Ten percent (10%) of the bid price to be paid on the day of sale, with the balance due within approximately 45 days, on or before Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Title insurance in the full amount of the purchase price will be provided by the sellers. Full possession will be given at the time of closing. The farm sells free and clear for 2016! The 2015 real estate taxes will be paid by the sellers. Immediately after the auction, the successful buyer will enter into a written contract with the sellers.
