LOCATION & GENERAL INFORMATION

The Whitaker Trust Farm is located in Section 12, Harrisburg Township, Van Buren County, Iowa. From Hillsboro, Iowa proceed south on W-46 (Ash Ave.) 11⁄2 miles to Hwy. #16, then turn right or west and proceed 1/2 mile, then turn left or south onto W-46 (100th Ave.) and go 11⁄2 miles to the farm. (Be watching for presale directional signs.)

 

TRACT INFORMATION

  • FSA figures indicate 56.27 tillable acres that are currently in hay production or in pastureland.
  • Balance of the farm is timber areas that support several types of wildlife, including whitetail deer, turkey and much more! Meandering through this farm is Little Cedar Creek, which provides a year-round water supply.

METHOD & TERMS

The Whitaker Trust Farm will be sold in one (1) individual tract and will sell on a price per acre basis, based on the advertised acres.

Ten (10%) percent of the bid price to be due on the day of sale with the balance due in approximately 30 days, on or before April 6, 2020, upon delivery of a merchantable abstract and deed. Immediately following the auction, the successful bidder(s) shall enter into a written agreement with the seller. The real estate taxes will be prorated to the date of closing. The farm sells with full possession for 2020.
