Method & Terms
The farm will be sold on a price per acre basis, based on 100 Acres ±. Ten percent (10%) of the bid price to be due on the day of the auction, with the balance due on or before Thursday, August 31, 2017. (Please note: This farm must be closed no later than August 31st.) The 2017 real estate taxes will be paid by the sellers, as they will be retaining the ’17 crop. Possession will be given upon the removal of the ’17 corn crop. Immediately following the auction, the successful buyer will enter into a written contact with the sellers; said contract will contain the usual language pertaining to real estate auctions. Bidding is not subject to financing; all prospective bidders need to do their due diligence.
