Selling 111.72 acres, which will be offered in two tracts


LOCATION & GENERAL INFORMATION: From La Harpe, IL, take Hwy. 9/94 west 3 1/2 miles to CR #2350E, then left or south 1 1/2 miles to CR #2500N, then left or east 1/2 mile to the farm. The farm is located in Section 36 of Durham Township, Hancock County, IL. Tract 1 represents 83 acres of tillable cropland, with the balance in wooded timber and draws. Tract 2 will be the home and outbuildings, with the balance in large mature timber.


Tract 1 – 102.31 Surveyed Acres

  • FSA figures should indicate approximately 83 acres of tillable farmland
  • Productive Soils: Rozetta, Muscatune, Atterbury & Hickory

Ten percent (10%) of the bid price will be due the day of the sale, with the balance to be paid at the time of closing, on or before November 5, 2018. Bidding is NOT contingent upon financing.

Title insurance in the full amount of the purchase price will be provided by the sellers. The 2018 real estate taxes, due and payable in 2019, will be paid by the sellers. The 2019 real estate taxes will be paid by the new buyer(s). Possession will be given at the time of closing, subject only to the current tenant in possession for the 2018 crop year.  The farm sells free & clear for the 2019 crop year.
