General Information

The W.D. Boyce Council is selling a portion of the Ingersoll Scout Reservation which they do not utilize. The land represents timber, CRP & CREP acres which offer excellent whitetail deer, wild turkey & other wildlife habitat. The main core of the Reservation is NOT selling which includes buildings, camp sites, hiking trails, and other activity areas.

Method & Terms

The farm will be sold on a price per acre basis, based on a survey that is currently underway.

Immediately following the auction, the successful buyer will be required to sign a real estate sales contract and pay ten percent (10%) of the purchase price as a non-refundable down payment which will be held in escrow until closing. The balance of the purchase price due at closing on or before Monday, June 20th, 2022. The seller will provide title insurance in the full amount of the purchase price and pay the 2021 real estate taxes, due and payable in 2022. The 2022 real estate taxes will be prorated to the date of closing. All CRP & government payments will be prorated to the date of closing. Full possession will be given at closing – there are no hunting leases.

Bidding is NOT subject to any contingencies, including but not limited to financing, an appraisal or inspection of the property.
