The Lukoskie property will be sold in three individual tracts, all of which are currently being surveyed.

Tract 1, which includes the home, will sell first. We will then sell “Buyer’s Choice” on tracts 2 & 3. All three tracts will sell for a “LUMP SUM” or total dollar amount, and not on a price per acre basis. After all three tracts have been sold we will NOT offer the property in its entirety.

Ten percent (10%) of the bid price will be due on the day of the sale with the balance due at the time of closing, on or before Friday, January 29, 2016. All tracts will sell with full possession at the time of closing. Title insurance in the full amount of the purchase price will be provided. The 2015 real estate taxes, due and payable in 2016, will be paid by the seller with the 2016 real estate taxes being the responsibility of the buyer.

Auction being held for the late Father Raymond M. Lukoskie, November 6, 1932 – August 11, 2015. Father “Luke” was ordained as a Catholic Priest on June 1, 1958. He served many parishes including Moline, Illinois, Kewanee, Illinois, St. Ambrose at Milan along with several other parishes. In the early 1970’s Father moved into the local Western Illinois area and served in Carthage, West Point, Warsaw, and Hamilton, Illinois.

Father Lukoskie was also known for his love of the outdoors and his caring for animals. He loved to hunt, fish, boat and also enjoyed cooking. Sullivan Auctioneers are privileged to be able to conduct this auction as our entire family knew him very well. Brief Sale order: 9:30 A.M. – household items, tools and other personal property. 11:00 – 11:30 A.M. – JD tractor, trailer and other major items. 12:00 Noon – Real estate. we will then finish up with any unsold items.
