Method & Terms

The Cessford Quarry property will be sold in one (1) individual tract based on the taxable acres on a price per acre basis.

Ten (10%) percent of the bid price to be due on the day of sale with the balance due in approximately 30 days, on or before Tuesday, December 1, 2020 upon delivery of a merchantable abstract and deed. Immediately following the auction, the successful bidder(s) shall enter into a written agreement with the seller. The real estate taxes will be prorated to the date of closing. Possession on the tract will be given at the time of closing. The small tillable tract in the northwest portion of the property sells subject to a crop lease for the 2021 crop year. There is a septic system that services the office / scale house located on this property that will require testing. Said testing and or upgrading will be at the buyer’s expense.
