Selling 58 acres± of Pike County, IL trophy whitetail deer and wild turkey habitat. The farm will be sold in one individual tract that represents not only premier hunting but also a high percentage of tillable farmland. FSA figures should indicate approximately 21 acres tillable.

The Sohn brothers farm is located southeast of Liberty, IL and south of Hwy. 104 near the small village of Fishhook, IL. (Fishhook is located 31 miles east of Quincy, IL or approximately 40 miles west of Jacksonville, IL). The farm is further described as being located in the Southeast Quarter of Section 18 of Fairmount Township, Pike County, Illinois. County Road 2750N runs along the entire north border of the farm.

The Sohn Brothers farm will be sold in one individual tract and on a price per acre basis, based on the above indicated 58± acres.

Ten percent (10%) of the bid price will be due and payable immediately following the auction, with the balance due in approximately 30 days, on or before Monday July 24, 2017 at the time of closing. Title insurance in the full amount of the final purchase price will be provided by the seller. The 2016 real estate taxes, due and payable in 2017, will be paid by the seller. The 2017 real estate taxes will be prorated to the date of closing. Possession will be given at the time of closing, subject only to the 2017 crop farm lease. The farm sells with full fall 2017 hunting rights.
